Hi y’all!

It’s been a while! We’ve been hard at work finalizing our Class of 2027 and preparing to hit the road to recruit the Class of 2028 this fall.

Did you know that our home state of Louisiana will be the most represented state in our freshman class this fall? We are so excited that many talented students chose to stay in state! This is the first time since 2017 that LA took the crown for the freshman class (sorry California and New York!)

Speaking of travel, we will be hitting the road soon to start our “Tulane Comes to You” series of information sessions! We are starting in Louisiana with visits to Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Monroe, Shreveport, and Alexandria! Check your calendars and see if you can make it as we’d love to connect with families to answer all of your Tulane questions.

If none of those days work for you, or you’d rather see our campus in person, we are hosting a special Campus Preview Day for Louisiana families on Sunday, September 17th! Campus Preview Days are the best deep dive into life at Tulane, complete with a tour, student panel, and various other sessions to prepare you for your application. And don’t worry, the Saints have Monday Night Football that week, so you won’t be missing the game. We’d love to see you on campus!

Don’t forget that Tulane also offers various scholarships only for students from Louisiana high schools! A few years back, we introduced the Louisiana Promise, where families who have an adjusted gross income of $100k or less will have no loans as part of their financial aid package. This fall, we’ll have about 50 students in our freshman class who received those packages.

We also offer tons of free college readiness programming through the Louisiana Center for College Access! Take a look at their website and sign up for some of our sessions! We can’t wait to see you soon!
